Hello all!

Today I will be going over a few quick tips to make your life easier on Timeline!

Playback Options:

I’ll go in order from left to right.

1: Sends you all the way to the beginning
2: Goes back 1 frame
3: Plays from the selected frame
4: Goes to the next frame
5: Skips to the end of the track

Track Modes:

These options are used to merge, move, and replace tracks

Using Mix mode to ease into two clips

Mix Mode:

With this mode, you can merge tracks. This means you can ease into a different animation so there isn’t an awkward pause in-between each animation clip. This mode is default and probably the best to keep active.

Ripple Mode:

This mode is simple. All it does is make it where if you move one clip, it moves them all at the same time.

Replace Mode:

This mode explains itself. If you drag a clip over the top of another one, it will cut its way in. Whatever was there before is gone, so be careful when using this mode. Luckily there is undo!

Keyboard Shortcuts:

A: When you want to see every clip in your timeline.
F: When you want to focus on a single clip.
S: Used to split a clip.

That was just a few tips, there will probably be more to come later!

Next up, I will be going over pre and post extrapolation!

Thank you for your time!
